iYogi Establishes CA Sales Competency Center

CA looks to streamline its sales process with the support provider’s online demos and presentations.

iYogi, an on-demand services and computer support provider for SMBs, has announced the creation of a CA Sales Competency Center.

The Competency Center at iYogi aims to provide remote demos and installation and trial services for resellers offering CA’s Internet Security software to customer prospects. iYogi’s service can also set up software post-sale on customer computers and servers remotely, thereby shortening installation and adoption times for CA’s security software.

George Kafkarkou, senior vice president and general manager of the Internet security business unit of CA, calls iYogi’s tools and services “a useful part of CA’s go-to market strategy,” reducing difficulties associated with pre-sale demonstrations and presentations.

Kafkarkou adds, “iYogi’s complete range of pre-sales services provides prospective customers with a thorough overview of our channel program, which ultimately helps us close business faster and easier.”

For iYogi’s part, Uday Challu, company CEO and co-founder, says working with CA is exciting. He adds, “It is a natural extension of our global service delivery model and makes sense in shortening the time to value for the channel and customers.”
