Today’s MSPs face nonstop challenges securing clients against cyberthreats. The expanding attack surface, from home offices to coffee shops’ Wi-Fi, and aging DNS filters haven’t quite kept up. So, CyberFOX has stepped in to fill that gap with the debut of its new AI-powered DNS Filtering tool built for the hybrid era.
CyberFOX’s new DNS Filtering blocks malicious websites, phishing attempts, and unwanted content. With it, MSP partners can help clients improve their defenses while keeping employees focused and productive.
The Tampa, FL-based technology vendor’s move extends its security portfolio beyond privileged access and password management into another critical layer of cybersecurity. Partners asked CyberFOX to create a product for hybrid workforces still relying on outdated filters, CEO David Bellini told ChannelPro in an interview. “When COVID happened, that whole digital landscape expanded exponentially. Those [legacy] products don’t work well when people go outside of the office. Once they leave the roof, they’re unprotected.”

DNS filtering, Bellini explained, was the logical next step for CyberFOX to broaden its platform to cover more layers of MSP security. As customers’ workforces became increasingly distributed, the company saw an opportunity to help partners protect users wherever they log in without adding management overhead.
Meeting MSPs Where — and How — They Work
CyberFOX’s DNS Filter features flexible deployment options and customizable policy controls. It enables companies to protect, control, and optimize web traffic on a large scale.
The company tested the tool internally for six months, launching the early-access release. CyberFOX is offering the first three months free to help MSPs and IT teams pilot the product in real-world environments.
The timing also reflects a broader shift among MSPs, which are seeking to unify endpoint, identity, and web protection under simpler, cloud-managed platforms. By adding DNS Filtering, CyberFOX is positioning itself to compete in that expanding segment while keeping costs accessible for SMB customers.
A Step Toward Simplified, Scalable Protection
CyberFOX DNS Filtering combines AI-driven pattern recognition with granular policy controls and intuitive management. It filters out unwanted content while providing real-time reporting for visibility and compliance. This provides IT teams with tools to keep them one step ahead without adding complexity, Bellini said.
DNS Filtering “fits naturally into our broader mission of helping businesses build stronger cybersecurity without the headaches,” CTO Andrew Bensinger said in a prepared statement. “Combined with our existing solutions, we’re giving teams a complete security foundation that’s actually simple to deploy and maintain.”
AI That Learns as It Protects
Bellini said the new tool uses AI to evaluate unfamiliar websites in real time, scanning the first several pages of content to determine whether they’re safe. “It watches everywhere everyone’s browsing,” he told ChannelPro. “If the AI determines that it’s not safe, it flags it for the administrator to review. We’ll start suggesting sites that should be blocked. It’s just modernizing it all with AI.”

CyberFOX has a limited-time special offer for partners on its new DNS Filter.
CyberFOX built the technology for utility, not marketing. “We’re not doing it just because AI is a sexy new term,” emphasized Bellini. “We’re doing it because it’s a better mousetrap.”
Built for the SMB Market
As with other CyberFOX offerings, the product accommodates MSPs and SMB budgets. Bellini described the company’s formula as the “80/90 rule”: 80% of the features for 90% of the discount.
“SMBs usually have smaller budgets,” he told ChannelPro. “They can’t afford the expensive Fortune 500 security products, and they don’t have a full-time staff person to manage them. Everything we do is built to give them the protection they need at the price they can afford.”
DNS Filtering complements CyberFOX AutoElevate for privileged access management and CyberFOX Password Manager, rounding out a growing suite of integrated tools for MSPs focused on Zero Trust and compliance.
Expansion Ahead
Bellini hinted that there’s still more to come. The company is evaluating additional security IP for acquisition. These technologies can be integrated into CyberFOX’s single management portal to help simplify MSP toolsets.
“Some of the technology we’re looking at has been in the Fortune 500 for years,” Bellini told ChannelPro. “Now we want to bring that same level of protection to SMBs for a fraction of the cost.”
