The enhanced channel program from Campbell, Calif.-based Barracuda Networks Inc., a provider of cloud-connected security and storage solutions, offers the structure and tools to help partners successfully sell and support Barracuda solutions, accelerate partner profitability, and attract new, motivated partners.
In an effort to reward and better support VARs at all levels of the program, Barracuda has added an additional level, Premier, and adjusted the revenue and training requirements at all levels. The restructured program levels are now Registered, Authorized, Preferred, and Premier. Partners in good standing will be officially enrolled in the new levels.
Partners on each level can take advantage of improved discounts for evaluation products, product training from Barracuda University, and a more flexible deal registration process. Details include:
- The purchase limit for the products and services partners can use in their own businesses has increased, both for training and to secure and back up their own environments.
- More Barracuda solutions can now be registered, and product discounts have increased for approved registrations to further reward partner-generated opportunities.
- Barracuda University is available to assist partners with training options to help meet the partner program goals and requirements at each level.
Additionally, partners who qualify and are approved by Barracuda to provide managed services can do so by leveraging Barracuda Backup and Barracuda NG Firewall. This option opens up new revenue-generation opportunities for partners who offer managed security and storage services to customers.
