Carbonite Inc. has expanded its distribution network through an agreement with SYNNEX Corporation. The agreement allows SYNNEX CLOUDSolv group to distribute Carbonite’s platform of cloud backup solutions for SMBs.
According to Carbonite, SYNNEX was chosen as a distributor due to its strength in cloud solutions and the SMB technology market. SYNNEX simplifies the process of purchasing and managing cloud with CLOUDSolv, its marketplace for SaaS solutions. SYNNEX supports many of its SMB resellers through its peer-to-peer community, Varnex, a group of SYNNEX resellers united to drive growth and achieve success in the IT channel.
SYNNEX now offers Carbonite’s full line of data backup and recovery products:
- Carbonite Server plans back up an unlimited number of servers and databases, including Microsoft SQL Server, Exchange Server, MySQL, Oracle, and SharePoint. Carbonite Server also backs up the Windows System State so a server can be completely restored without reconfiguring the operating system or reloading applications. Carbonite Server solutions start at just $799.99 per year.
- Carbonite Pro provides backup storage for an unlimited number of computers, external hard drives and NAS devices, starting at $269.99 per year. Additional storage and Windows file server backup are also available with Carbonite Pro.
- Carbonite Personal offers unlimited backup for one computer starting at $59.99 per year.
