The second online conference for small business IT consultants sponsored by Small Biz Thoughts/Great Little Book Publishing Co. Inc. will be held June 25 to 27. This year’s theme is “IT Business Reboot 2013.” The conference will focus on “rebooting” a technology business for the current economy and will feature business and technology speakers from the U.S. and U.K.
Karl W. Palachuk, conference host, IT consultant, and technical author, stresses that the conference is business rather than technology focused, with the goal of helping IT consultants develop strategies for success. “Conference sessions will cover managing a business, marketing a business, creating standard operating procedures, building a strong team, and even buying up your competition,” says Palachuk, a managed service provider and cloud service provider with more than 17 years in the consulting business.
In addition to Palachuk, speakers include: John Armato, senior VP and senior partner at Fleishman-Hillard; Rayanne Buchianico, accountant, small business specialist, and financial coach for IT consultants; Mark Moreno, owner of C&M Support Services & Consulting Inc., and a midmarket specialist; Manuel Palachuk, author, business coach, and consultant; Stacey Powell, founder of Creating Answers and Finance Gym, financial coach, and Forbes writer; Chip Reaves, president of Bigger-Brains.com and founder of the Computer Troubleshooters franchise; Brian Sharp, trainer, coach, and founder of PresenterBox, an online presenter services company; and Richard Tubb, MSP coach and small business specialist who has been rated one of the top 10 U.K. technology bloggers.
The conference is online only and will run 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. PST. In all, the conference will broadcast 15 hours of programming in three days.
Packages start at $99 for live attendance only, which includes access to all handouts and participation in Q&A sessions. Other price levels include access to all recordings for 12 months, or access to all recordings and transcripts for 12 months. The full package is $399.
