SMART Technologies, a visual collaboration provider, is releasing the SMART Meeting Pro connector for Microsoft Lync, enabling Freestorm visual collaboration for Lync users. This new software connects Freestorm solutions from SMART with Microsoft Lync to create a more integrated audio, video, and data sharing experience.
Adding Freestorm to Microsoft Lync brings rich data collaboration tools to the user experience. In-room and remote users can share data from any software application, plus use SMART Ink to create digital notes, write into Microsoft Office applications, and capture ideas from users. Start-up time for Microsoft Lync, with Freestorm, is reduced to 60 seconds or less through Microsoft Exchange.
