ScienceLogic, a cloud management platform provider, has added video conferencing management capabilities to its IT operations and dynamic cloud management platform. With support for Cisco TelePresence (Tandberg), Polycom, and LifeSize, service providers can use the IT management system to deploy managed video services, including endpoints and hosted or remote infrastructures.
ScienceLogic’s platforms allows service providers to manage IT operations across data center and cloud computing infrastructures, monitoring servers, networks, and storage. With the video conferencing feature, service providers can expect:
- Support for Cisco TelePresence, Polycom, and LifeSize
- Pre-integrated IT management platform to monitor video in tandem with IT infrastructure
- Single IT management system for monitoring video endpoints and hosted or remote infrastructure
- Asset/inventory management, health/availability stats, call detail records, customizable reporting and dashboards
- Full management capabilities for multi-tenant operations
The ScienceLogic video conferencing management capability is available immediately at no additional cost to existing customers using the latest generation of the ScienceLogic product. ScienceLogic charges per device, with a device license starting at $150. The platform is also available via subscription.
