VaultLogix Adds Support for VMware ESXi

Adding compatibility with ESXi implementations of VMware vSphere, the new support allows users to install one instance of the agent on a VMware vSphere virtual server, and backup and restore multiple virtual machines simultaneously.

VaultLogix, an online backup provider, has launched support for VMware ESXi in the Internet Vault Classic (IV-Classic) solution. †IV-classic is part of VaultLogix’s online backup suite under the Internet Vault name.

Adding compatibility with ESXi implementations of VMware vSphere, this allows users to install one instance of the agent on a VMware vSphere virtual server, and backup and restore multiple virtual machines simultaneously, without requiring that the agent be installed on each VM it is backing up.

Users can use these backups to restore entire virtual machines for disaster recovery, or restore virtual disk files when only restoring data is necessary. For more information, visit http://www.dataprotection.com.
