IT security and data protection company Sophos has entered into a distribution agreement with technology distributor D&H Distributing. According to the terms of the agreement, D&H will distribute Sophos’ threat management and data protections software solutions in North America.
Through this partnership, Sophos gains access to D&H’s channel and partner network of over 25,000 resellers servicing the SMB marketing. In turn, D&H’s channel partners add Sophos’s encryption, endpoint security, Web, email, and mobile control solutions.
According to a D&H press release submitted to Channel Pro-SMB, “Todays small businesses are often underprepared to keep up with the changing security landscape and the increasing list of compliance mandates.” Its new relationship with Sophos, the distributor says, will provide VARs with the “full-featured products” necessary to equip SMBs.
For its own part, Sophos believes the distribution agreement with D&H will enable the company to gain access to a broader network of resellers in North America. “D&H are experts in the SMB market, and their experience and knowledge selling IT solutions and supporting resellers make it a perfect fit for Sophos,” says Matt Fogelgren, Sophos’ director of North American channel sales.
Built specifically for companies with fewer than 100 employees, Sophos Small Business Edition includes the Sophos Security Suite, Sophos Computer Security, and Sophos Anti-Virus. D&H partners will also be able to offer such solutions as Sophos Endpoint Security, Sophos for Microsoft SharePoint, Sophos Mobile Control, and Safeguard Easy.
