StreetSmart’s Address Book Gets an Upgrade
SaaS provider InfoStreet responds to user requests for a scaled-back CRM product, with customizable fields and displays.
SaaS-provider InfoStreet has updated the Address Book of its flagship software product StreetSmart.
StreetSmart is a business management tool for SMBs developed to increase employee performance, improve communications, and better facilitate customer relationships. The latest upgrade to the application’s Address Book feature is called Address Book 4.0.
Address Book 4.0 comes as InfoStreet customers increasingly request scaled-back CRM systems. In addition, says InfoStreet, customers demand “the security of knowing that their crucial data is centralized and routinely backed up.”
The company’s CEO, Siamak Farah, says user feedback drove the upgrades. “We heard from many of our very small business clients that they didn’t really need all the power, reporting, and additional cost burdens of a CRM system,” Farah says. “Clients wanted to ‘get by’ using their own address book.”
The problem, says Farah, is that most address books don’t offer enough customizable fields. The result has been that many SMBs resort to spreadsheets and email, which takes up a lot of time.
“To offer an alternative for these clients, we created Address Book 4.0, which offers a high-powered address book, complete with customizable fields,” says Farah, “all at no extra cost.”
The new version of StreetSmart’s Address Book includes:
- Information Groupings
- One-Click Information Additions and Deletions
- Unlimited Custom Fields
- Display Customization
“As Web-delivered software, this enhancement will be instantly available to all current (and future) users,” states InfoStreet in a press release submitted to EH Publishing.
