Asigra Backup Software Can Be Hosted Via 6Fusion
The Cloud Backup solution can be offered in conjunction with Infrastructure as a Software platform UC6.
Cloud backup and recovery software provider Asigra Inc. has entered into a strategic partnership with Infrastructure as a Service innovator 6fusion. The arrangement enables the hosting of Asigra’s backup solutions on 6fusion’s cloud infrastructure.
6fusion’s IaaS platform, UC6, enables MSPs to provide cloud-based backup services without having to invest in data center hardware while, at the same time, owning the backup data vault license and customer accounts.
Use of the Asigra Cloud Backup platform in conjunction with 6fusion enables MSPs to also offer affordable backup services to SMBs. †
UC6 provides remote access to utility, build servers and scale applications internally or externally from a single console over the internet. 6fusion’s proprietary Workload Allocation Cube (WAC) algorithm provides metering, consumption, and billing across cloud-based CPU, network, and storage resources.
Now, MSPs can host their Asigra backup vaults from one or more of 6fusion’s federated data centers in the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean.

The UC6 platform can be deployed as a private cloud inside a customer data center or as a public cloud. The public-private cloud support is integrated with Asigra Cloud Backup, which is built on a hybrid cloud deployment model. This enables organizations to meet specific company data residency requirements to meet regulatory compliance and/or security requirements to protect personally identifiable information.
