Portcullis Employs Paragon Software for Backup, Disaster Recovery
Paragon Drive Backup 9 Server Edition provides continuous data availability for Portcullis System’s line of security appliances.â€
Paragon Software Group, maker of data security and data management solutions, has been selected by Portcullis Systems Inc. to provide system and data backups, continuous data availability, and disaster recovery options for Portcullis Systems’ entire line of enterprise-class hardware solutions. 
Portcullis Systems, a provider of network and applications security, is a global partner with Microsoft and HP, offering solutions for secure remote access.
Portcullis Systems has integrated Paragon Software Group‘s Drive Backup 9 Server Edition into its security appliances, and will also offer it as an upgrade to existing customers, which include some of the world’s largest financial institutions, government ministries, defense departments, healthcare organizations, and enterprises.
According to Michael Oldham, CEO of Portcullis Systems, “Portcullis Systems’ products … provide the strongest application-level security available. We then further enhance these products by including software that increases the application value, such as Paragon’s.” He adds, “Finally, we add our advanced appliance management technologies to create powerful, turnkey security appliances.”
Oldham says Portcullis selected Paragon Drive Backup “due to the software’s relatively simple functionality for backup, restore and backup scheduling, as well as its ability to backup to and restore from a backup capsule to the local drive.”
