Wasp Launches a Low-Cost POS System for VARs and SMBs

QuickStore Point of Sale RapidStart includes hardware, software, support, and training for $999.

Plano, Texas-based Wasp Barcode Technologies has launched QuickStore Point of SWasp's QuickStore POS RapidStartale RapidStart.

The QuickStore Rapid Start is a point-of-sale solution for VARs. It includes POS hardware and software. It retails for $999.

Tom O’Shea, general manager for Wasp, says start-ups these days are looking stretch every dollar of their initial budgets. “They want the automation and convenience of a POS system, but can’t afford a huge up-front investment,” he says. “With QuickStore RapidStart, we are providing a complete solution that meets their requirements for functionality and affordability.”

With Wasp QuickStore Point of Sale RapidStart, VARs get:

  • QuickStore–Wasp’s Microsoft Windows-based POS software. It enables rapid checkout, inventory tracking and capture of customer information
  • X-Charge Integration–For credit and debit card processing, including Canadian debit cards.
  • POS RapidStart–Hardware kit, which contains a receipt printer, barcode scanner and stand, cash drawer, and credit card (mag-stripe) reader.
  • Support–Free technical support and maintenance for one full year.
  • Training-Free “Getting Started with QuickStore” lessons

VARs can upgrade to QuickStore Pro or QuickStore Multi-Store as business grow.
