Emerson Network Power Intros Three Power Distribution Units
The Liebert MPX, Liebert MPH, and Knurr DI-STRIP are available for order; shipping to begin this month.
Emerson Network Power has released three new power distribution units: The Liebert MPX, Liebert MPH, and Knurr DI-STRIP. Each is designed to help data center and IT managers effectively manage continuous changes and increasing complexity of connected loads throughout their facilities and network closets.
The Liebert MPX allows enables users to reconfigure rack PDU input power, from 20 to 60 amps, and swap out, on the fly, receptacle modules as equipment power requirements.
Both Liebert MPX and Liebert MPH include an integrated network card that provides upgradeable network communications, sensor input, an intelligent display interface, and remote monitoring and control via secure web/SNMP. All monitored rack PDUs can be monitored and managed through Liebert Nform or Liebert SiteScan.
All of the rack PDU products operate up to 131 degrees Fahrenheit.
Matt Kightlinger says IT and data center managers must regularly add equipment. He adds, “This puts increasing importance on the durability and flexibility of the rack and the power distribution within it. Our rack PDU products are designed to fill this need and manage constant changes and additions.”
The new products are available for order now; shipping will start in mid-September.
