Bell Microproducts to Offer Flexstar’s Storage Test Systems
Distributor agreement offers system manufacturers testing platform for quality assurance.
Bell Microproducts Inc., a value-added distributor of storage and computing technology in San Jose, Calif., and Flexstar Technology, supplier of turnkey storage test systems for digital storage devices located in Freemont, Calif., have reached an agreement whereby Bell Micro will distribute Flexstar’s Desktop Series of test solutions to the Americas and EMEA.
As part of this new relationship, Bell Micro will distribute Flexstar’s testing systems with a primary focus on small to mid-range industrial system manufacturers that use storage devices in their systems.†
As the first non-captive supplier of storage test systems, Flexstar’s products support the speed and capacity requirements of the newest generation of hard disk drives and solid state storage devices. Designed with an open architecture, the Flexstar platform can test multiple interfaces with minimal set-up time, according to the company. Flexstar’s Desktop Series satisfies various testing needs including: simple test, performance test, failure analysis test, qualification reliability test, and video application test; and comes with plug-and-play software for these test suites and more.†
