The white-label SaaS platform enables SMB resellers to generate recurring revenues.

San Diego-based VMIX Media, Inc., a provider of Software as a Service (SaaS) video and digital media management solutions, is launching a channel program designed to generate ongoing SaaS income for resellers serving SMB and larger markets. Through this new program, solution providers will own the end-user relationship, collecting monthly service revenues. VMIX will in turn provide partners with marketing and sales support, best practices and training, back-line tech support, and per-customer usage reporting.

As corporate communications continue to evolve in sophistication, commercial Web sites are incorporating less static content and more animated, interactive media such as streaming video presentations. Online video is exploding as a communications and marketing tool, and is estimated to be the fastest growing interactive function on the Internet on into 2012, according to a 2008 report by Forrester Research. Other reports predict that it will become a $15 billion market.

The VMIX white-label Software as a Service (SaaS) video platform allows companies to host customized video content on their own sites and to manage, organize, and distribute that content, leveraging it to market their businesses and increase sales in the sluggish economy. The solution requires no up-front capital expenses, it integrates with exisiting software and hardware, and it can be managed by the end-user’s non-technical staff–a strategic way for companies to upgrade their Web infrastructures in a down market, even if working with fewer staff.

The solution is appropriate for news and entertainment companies and for a range of verticals, including interactive agencies and those companies for which resellers do Web integration and content management.

The VMIX Channel Partner Program
Authorized solution provider partners are eligible for a program that includes:

Fully managed service, including 24 x 7 back-line support service

New software features, upgrades, and enhancements at no additional cost.

Marketing and sales support, including leads, co-op funds, webinars for end-users, direct access to the VMIX sales staff, and sales training for VARs and their customers

“Right now, resellers are looking for ways to secure margins with minimal cash lay-out, especially through services. A SaaS solution like VMIX is perfect for an economy where their customers are gravitating toward products that can increase their efficiencies. We can give resellers a state-of-the-art video solution that meets all of today’s needs as well as their needs for the future,” says Mike Glickenhaus, president and CEO of VMIX. “This presents an outstanding opportunity for resellers, and we’re excited to start building strong relationships in the channel.”
