TBI Strengthens Partner Resources by Adding New Director of Channel Sales and Channel Manager

Leading technology distributor, TBI, announces the addition of a new Director of Channel Sales and a Channel Manager to further support its growing partner community. Chris Holloway joins as Director of Channel Sales for the South-Central part of the US, guiding and leading our Channel Sales team in the territory. Bruce Ware is a new Channel Manager, supporting current and potential TBI partners in South Texas.

Chris Holloway brings over 22 years of experience in the Channel, notably working for TBI providers Fuze and Fusion Connect. Areas of specialty include cloud solutions (IaaS, UCaaS, SaaS, ITaaS), IT security, and wireless services. In his role as Director of Channel Sales, his focus will be to grow, develop, and manage his team, while also increasing TBI brand awareness to current and potential Channel partners in the TOLA area.

“I look forward to having the opportunity to work with all of the TOLA partners, many of whom are old friends. I am also excited to work with some of my friends and colleagues at all of our current and new providers,” says Holloway when being asked about his new role.

“Chris has a strong tenure and history within the Channel and is widely respected throughout the community and with top partners in the marketplace. Chris is a leader at heart, focused on delivering excellence to partners through interactions, engagement and education on what solutions and providers are winning today.  He has a very focused, ‘get it done’ attitude that our partners and providers are going to see tremendous value in, and what the marketplace needs today in this environment of constant change and M&A.  Partners are looking for stability, consistency, and value-added resources, and Chris helps TBI further that with partners,” said Regional VP of Sales, Marco Sanchez.

While Holloway is not working, he enjoys spending his time racing motocross and doing other outdoor activities. Married with 3 kids and 3 “fur babies”, they all live an exciting and active lifestyle that never slows down.

Seasoned Channel veteran, Bruce Ware, also joins TBI as a Channel Manager in the TOLA region. With over 35 years in the telecom industry, Ware has extensive experience growing undeveloped territories and supporting agent/provider success. Most recently, he was a regional manager for the TBI Provider, Vonage, driving UCaaS, CCaaS, and Vonage’s re-aligned brand awareness for the TOLA region. Prior to this role, he was a 9-year member of Samsung’s leadership team as Sr. Director of Sales for their Business Communication Systems division-North America, responsible for all revenue performance including the management of 16 regional and national channel managers. In Ware’s new role as a TBI Channel Manager, he will be responsible for driving revenue growth for both agents and providers, while also building a stronger awareness of TBI in his territory.

“Because of COVID, companies are now looking at a permanent shift in how they work-- reassessing workflows, processes, and business logic. This is requiring a completely new level of service, support, infrastructure, security, compliance, and continuity. Our agent community now more than ever needs their technology distributor to deliver on things like re-aligned value propositions, highly verticalized engineering support, dedicated channel-savvy marketing resources, and live personalized/interactive education/training, just to name a few. We are on this journey together-- agent, provider, end user, and technology distributor-- a family if you will,” said Ware.

“I have had the pleasure of knowing Bruce over the last few years, most notably at his time at Vonage.  Bottom line, Bruce is one of the hardest working, genuine and knowledgeable people I have had the privilege to work with.  He truly cares about his craft, taking care of partners and ensuring they have what they need to drive their business – he will go to battle for partners when needed.  He brings a fresh option for the large-distributor marketplace in Texas, and adding the stability and long history of TBI, there is a lot of power in what we are building out there.  We are so happy to have Bruce join our team and further our world-class Channel sales organization,” said Sanchez.

Outside of work, Ware enjoys spending his time volunteering for many charitable organizations including Feeding America, The Humane Society, and The World Kindness Movement. Additionally, he loves being outside and playing recreational sports like tennis, pickleball, and anything involving water.
