D&H DISTRIBUTING ENHANCES ITS MSP OFFERING, ADDING PASSWORD BOSS & WHITE LABEL MANAGED SERVICES

— D&H Adds Capabilities to its Growing MSP “Cloud Cluster,”
Plus Augments Professional Services with Disciplines Such as
Help Desk as a Service (HDaaS) and Managed Device Services —

D&H Distributing, a major provider of SMB, mid-market, and consumer technologies to the North American channel, announces it is enhancing its offering for managed service providers (MSPs), adding password management solutions from new D&H partner Password Boss. This cloud-based solution safeguards end-users’ most sensitive online credentials by providing a comprehensive, end-to-end password management platform for MSPs.

The software includes features such as auto-login, multi-factor authentication, AES256 encryption, advanced password sharing, Dark Web scanning, and multi-device support. This intuitive, user-friendly offering stores individual passwords for every end-user across multiple clientele, allowing MSPs to more easily manage even a complicated series of security access environments. Such measures have never been more crucial, in light of the recent Colonial Pipeline breach, which reports have called a result of a compromised password.

Password Boss will become part of the D&H “MSP Cloud Cluster,” joining complementary products including Acronis, Axcient, CharTec, ConnectWise, Liongard, SonicWall, and Sophos to form a suite of MSP tools and services, making it easier for service providers to run their businesses. The “Cluster” also features new D&H white label managed services to help MSP’s augment and scale their service delivery.

The unique ability to bundle these related software platforms together with hardware, devices, and managed services differentiates D&H as a cloud distribution partner. It allows MSPs of all sizes to deliver comprehensive XaaS (“Everything as a Service”) solutions from a one-stop-resource. These services are deployed and managed across multiple end-users through D&H’s Cloud Marketplace self-service portal, and integrated with market-leading MSP tools including ConnectWise and Datto for automated invoicing.

D&H also offers a new XaaS configuration tool, which enables MSPs to combine hardware, software, and services into a bundled monthly subscription, streamlining the quoting process and providing instant visibility into payment options. The program delivers a streamlined billing process and accelerated cash flow for MSPs, while helping them meet market demand for the “as a service” consumption model with their customers. These resources empower D&H partners to make a comprehensive transition to the services-based provisioning model that is becoming the new standard in our rapidly transforming marketplace.

“D&H Distributing’s dedication to the MSP community is becoming more profound as the company expands its bundled offerings for this category,” said David Bellini, CEO of Password Boss. “It’s rare to see this extensive a range of solutions delivered in conjunction with hardware, financing options, technical expertise, and support—all the elements that partners need to launch and maintain a successful XaaS practice. We’re thrilled to provide Password Boss’ comprehensive password management software as part of this growing offering.”

Augmenting MSP Capabilities with Professional Services

“D&H’s Professional Services program is developing at a rapid clip, adding enhancements and bolstering new services almost monthly,” said Jason Bystrak, D&H’s vice president of cloud and services. “We’ve just launched a series of managed services that our MSP partners can white label as their own, increasing their ability to scale a shared service delivery model and stimulate the growth of their practices. And for partners making the transition from VAR to MSP, these services are designed and packaged for an easy attach to common hardware, which speeds the sales process. The greater a menu of services we can offer to augment our partners’ capabilities, the more we reinforce their ability to thrive and grow ‘upstream’ toward mid-market opportunities.” These managed services include:

  • Managed Device Services
  • Managed Device Security Services
  • Managed Device Patching Services
  • Managed Infrastructure Services
  • Managed Infrastructure Security Services
  • Managed Help Desk Services (HDaaS)

One of the newest additions to this portfolio, D&H’s Managed Help Desk Services, or “HDaaS,” provides a team of expert technicians to conduct 24/7 tech support to the partner’s list of clientele. This includes a US-based contact center; CompTIA-certified remote technicians; remote-, chat-, and phone-based support; network connectivity support; removal of viruses, spyware, and malware; Microsoft Office set-up and support; and more.

“D&H is doing phenomenal work in supporting managed services providers, developing a finely curated portfolio of solutions and services that help these partners accelerate their migration to a consumption-based technology offering,” said Liongard CRO Adam Slutskin. “D&H is a go-to resource in this market, especially for SMB and mid-market partners looking to expand their profitability through the XaaS model. Liongard is delighted to serve as a cornerstone for automated IT documentation within D&H’s ‘Cloud Cluster’ strategy, based on the ConnectWise Manage solution.”
