BitTitan, the global leader in managed services automation, announced the hiring of Dr. Uzma S. Burki as the company’s new Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer.
With over 20 years of professional experience in the fields of business and HR, Burki has worked in various capacities with Fortune 500 companies as well as nonprofit and private entities. Prior to her new position at BitTitan, Burki held an HR executive role with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Burki worked as an HR consultant with Altvia Consulting. Prior to that, she served in HR executive roles with Battelle, Amtrak Corporation and American Red Cross. Her positions have ranged from serving as head of human resources or chief human resources officer to those of deputy head of human resources.
Burki has also held management positions with Ameriprise, National City Bank, and Citigroup. She has managed teams of over 250 people with budget responsibilities extending up to $51 million and impacting over 21,000 employees.
Burki holds a Ph.D. from Fielding Graduate University. She earned master’s degrees from Columbia University, Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and Kansas State University. She holds numerous licenses and certifications, including a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), a Master Human Capital Strategist (MHCS), a DDI Master Facilitator and as a Prosci Master Facilitator.
Burki is multilingual, a published author and a thought leader on human capital issues. She is a board member at Institute of Mindfulness (IOM) and an adjunct faculty member at University of Southern California’s Bovard College and Sacred Heart University.
