Pure Storage (NYSE:†PSTG), the all-flash storage platform that helps innovators build a better world with data, announced the appointment of Joseph “Joe” Pinto as Chief Customer Experience Officer. Pinto will report to Chairman and CEO†Charlie Giancarlo†and spearhead Pure Storage’s Global Support and Professional Services functions under the newly formed Customer Experience organization.
Pinto joins Pure Storage from a 28-year career at Cisco where he led Technical Services and its transformation into an award-winning organization. His team also created Cisco’s first Technical Support website — the first of its kind in the industry, in addition to launching education and customer assurance programs, and certification programs.
