Microsoft Veteran Joins Nerdio Executive Team as Chief Revenue Officer

Joseph Landes joins team to lead acceleration and adoption of company’s cloud strategy

Nerdio, a pioneer in cloud IT automation, has announced that Joseph Landes, a 23-year Microsoft veteran, has been appointed Chief Revenue Officer. His deep experience with partners and customers around the world and across many business groups and geographies, as well as his long history of helping partners and customers realize the value of moving to the cloud, will prove to be a tremendous asset for Nerdio. This is particularly true as they accelerate adoption of†Nerdio for Azure, an easy-to-use IT management platform for Microsoft Azure.

“Having spent considerable time with partners and customers who want to digitally transform by moving their operations to the cloud, it was easy to recognize that Nerdio’s unique approach to managing cloud IT environments was something I wanted to be a part of,” said Landes. “I’m thrilled to join Nerdio, an innovative and fast-paced startup, and am excited to expand the Microsoft Azure ecosystem and help partners and customers realize the benefit of cloud computing.”

During his career at Microsoft, Landes held numerous sales and marketing senior leadership positions at the company’s corporate headquarters in Redmond as well as in Eastern Europe, India, and Brazil. He has done business for Microsoft in over 80 countries and brings a wealth of experience in cloud product management, international marketing, sales, and business development to his role as Nerdio CRO. Landes is also a proven leader with a strong focus on driving large teams toward big, bold goals.

One of Landes’ primary focuses at Nerdio will be to significantly scale the Nerdio for Azure program by expanding its reach to diverse channel partners, including Managed Service Providers, distributors, and cloud marketplaces. In addition, he will be leading the company’s go-to-market activities for all Nerdio public and private cloud offerings.

“A dynamic and seasoned business person, Joseph Landes will be a key addition to the Nerdio leadership team,” said Vadim Vladimirskiy, CEO of Nerdio. “With the exciting strides Nerdio for Azure has been making in the Microsoft ecosystem, the time was right for us to bring on a talent like Joseph to oversee all aspects of our growth plan.”

Nerdio for Azure is an IT automation technology that addresses critical challenges by enabling migration to Azure in a couple of hours with just a few clicks, streamlining the management of these environments from one centralized management platform, and reducing costs through its intuitive interface and innovative AutoScaling capabilities.
