MSPAlliance Launches Monthly Payment Option for Audit and Examination Program

MSP/Cloud Verify Program offers flexible payment options for improved cash flow and budgeting; enhances MSP/Cloud Verify community with new Slack channel

The MSPAlliance today announced new and affordable payment options for organizations going through the MSP/Cloud Verify (MSPCV) program. The new payment options include monthly billing to help MSPs maximize cash flow while undergoing the MSPCV engagement. The MSPCV is the oldest examination program for cloud computing and managed services providers and is based on the 10 control objectives of the Unified Certification Standard for Cloud & MSPs.

Monthly Billing Helps MSPs with Cashflow

“MSPs are very familiar with monthly billing for their managed services,” said Charles Weaver, CEO of MSPAlliance. “Monthly billing for companies going through the MSP/Cloud Verify program, including SSAE 16 and SOC 2 audits, is really important for maximizing cash flow and allowing even the smallest of organizations to realize the value of the program.”

“Running a profitable managed security services business demands keeping a close eye on cash flow,” said Scott Suhy, CEO of Defensative. “The monthly billing option not only allows Defensative to get our MSP/Cloud Verify and SSAE 16 reports, but it also makes our financial people very happy as we preserve cash flow critical to growing our business.”

MSP/Cloud Verify Slack Channel

Another enhancement is the launch of a new Slack community channel for MSP/Cloud Verify members. This Slack channel will allow the thousands of employees working for MSP/Cloud Verify organizations to collaborate, communicate, and socialize on a global basis on a variety of issues.

“Beyond the tremendous value of the MSP/Cloud Verify program is the community created by these trusted organizations and their employees,” said Celia Weaver, president of MSPAlliance. “The ability of these individuals to seek out and collaborate with other trusted service provider organizations is crucial to the advancement of this profession.”

The MSPCV was the first examination created specifically for the managed services and cloud industry. Every examination comes with a written report with the entire process documented, validated and signed by a 3rd party accounting firm. The MSPCV has been reviewed by governmental agencies and regulatory bodies across the globe and is used and accepted in 5 continents around the world.

MSPCV was created, using a wide base of criteria, to certify cloud and Managed IT Solution Providers thereby ensuring that they have met and exceed well-established standards of excellence and client care. Customers who select a company that has been MSP/Cloud Verified can also rest assured that their provider has met and exceeded the best practices of the IT profession.
