HTG Peer Groups Focuses on New Opportunities to Impact Business Growth

Addition of centralized meetings, content, consulting, and coaching provides HTG members with options beyond peer groups to tackle deepest business issues.

HTG Peer Groups has developed an expanded strategy to include enhanced centralized peer group meetings and experienced coaching and consulting to its program. These centralized meetings include content days designed to educate business owners and assist them in developing the next level of leaders within their organizations.

As part of the strategy transition, the centralized meeting format has all members meeting in one location each quarter, which allows all members to take advantage of the content days. The HTG Leadership Academy takes place quarterly and is accompanied by topic or role specific workshops such as Sales and Service Summits, a Mergers & Acquisition workshop, and a “Transitioning to the Cloud” Workshop.

“As a member of HTG Peer Groups, I enjoy participating in the centralized meetings. It enables me to network with other peers outside my meeting room and strengthen my relationships with the vendor members,” says Garrett Brucker, president of Solve IT, Denver, Colorado. “I’ve used the quality content from the Leadership Academy as action items to execute in my business and have even brought members of my team so they are able to sharpen their skills.”

To raise the bar for business leaders, HTG is focusing on adding new capabilities, such as consulting, coaching, and mentoring that are available no matter the level of a member company’s maturity.

“Peers groups are the foundation of HTG and have proven to be effective in providing a place where business leaders can come and learn from other leaders,” says HTG Peer Groups chief operating officer Brad Schow. “We’ve been working to build the HTG community and provide clear ways for members to tackle business issues at the deepest levels, enabling them to break past barriers that prevent growth.”

HTG coaches and consultants are available to assess a situation and develop an individualized plan to walk with company leaders as they overcome their current challenges. HTG is also doing individual and group leadership development, assisting owners in building their leadership teams.

“These new capabilities offered by HTG are designed to allow members to go as deep or as broad as they desire, and to provide solutions that match the needs of individual companies and leaders,” adds Brad Schow. “We’ve reached a point where our members’ revenue growth is over 10 percentage points higher than the industry average from the past three years and we don’t want to see that diminish.”

The next 2014 centralized meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 4 – Friday, August 8, 2014, in Denver, Colorado. For more information, visit http://www.htgmembers.com/Q3.
