InterCall, a conferencing and collaboration provider, is now offering HD video capabilities for its InterCall Webcast Studio platform. Customers can use HD webcams and HD videoconferencing units (VCUs) with H.264 support during webcasts and other events.
An improved video compression allows a higher-quality signal to be received at a lower video bit rate. Webcast hosts can provide commercial broadcast quality without excessive bandwidth. According to the company, InterCall Webcast Studio is the first to support organic HD through a webcam and provides resolution up to 720p.
InterCall Webcast Studio enables companies of all sizes to create and broadcast rich media presentations on the web. Webcasts can be broadcast live or recorded for later playback. For more information, visit InterCall Webcast Studio.
