IT distributor SYNNEX Corp. has announced to partners the availability of a turnkey managed security service offering through its CONVERGESolv Secure Networking division.
The offering comes via network security vendors Check Point Software Technologies Inc. and WatchGuard Technologies Inc. CONVERGESolv Secure Networking is designed to enable channel pros to offer managed security without having invest in training, infrastructure, or additional employees.
“By having CONVERGESolv Secure Networking manage their end users’ network security from start to finish with Check Point and WatchGuard Technologies, the risk for resellers is minimized while new revenue opportunities are generated without adding costs,” states SYNNEX in a press release submitted to Channel Pro-SMB.
The CONVERGESolv Secure Networking offering facilitates policy changes, reporting, and support on behalf of the reseller. Additionally, there are unique offerings from both Check Point and WatchGuard Technologies that are only available to SYNNEX resellers.
For Check Point, SYNNEX resellers are offered a one-time 50 percent demo discount on Check Point’s premium service and no hardware costs with contract. Further, SYNNEX provides an additional 5 percent discount on the first order. SYNNEX resellers using Check Point have access to 24/7 live support.
SYNNEX resellers have basic, advanced or custom-built service packages for all WatchGuard Technologies Extensible Threat Management security products and a 5 percent discount on the first order.
