SmartDraw Software has released the new SmartDraw 2012, featuring redesigned project management capabilities. Scalable to suit projects of any size, SmartDraw 2012 offers meeting and planning features as well.
SmartDraw’s project management capabilities include the creation of flow charts, timelines, and more. The new version is designed to improve project coordination with feature-specific toolbars and floating toolbars within the chart. Redesigned project views allow users to zoom and scroll within the project timeline. SmartDraw 2012 also offers enhanced integration with Microsoft Project, including easy data exporting.
Project planning functions include upgraded project views, Assignment and Outline, for more efficient idea creation and capturing. Tasks are easily moved or duplicated, and a new docked task library puts common tasks within easy reach when planning similar projects.
The new visual information hubs organize ideas and information, including hotlinks to other SmartDraw visuals, as well as PDFs, Word documents, and more. Meeting View allows SmartDraw 2012 users to organize project tasks by person, and new Page Tabs allow views to change more easily.
