Oceanport, N.J.-based CommVault, a provider of data management software, has introduced a new service provider component to its PartnerAdvantage program. 
Powered by CommVault Simpana 9 software, the PartnerAdvantage program offers MSPs a platform for delivering managed backup; managed archive for space management (for example, file, email, and SharePoint); managed email for e-discovery and compliance; as well as disaster recovery and business continuity.
Simpana software provides role-based access control in a multitenant environment, integrated reporting and chargeback capabilities, and integration with VMware Cloud Director, which enables MSPs to deploy and administer data protection functions from a single console for installation, administration, and scalability.
