New MSP Program Debuts from CommVault

The company’s PartnerAdvantage program enables MSPs to deliver managed backup and archive, managed email, and disaster recovery and business continuity.

The program, for MSPs, delivers enhanced tools and marketing and training support.

Oceanport, N.J.-based CommVault, a provider of data management software, has introduced a new service provider component to its PartnerAdvantage program. CommVault logoPowered by CommVault Simpana 9 software, the PartnerAdvantage program offers MSPs a platform for delivering managed backup; managed archive for space management (for example, file, email, and SharePoint); managed email for e-discovery and compliance; as well as disaster recovery and business continuity.

Simpana software provides role-based access control in a multitenant environment, integrated reporting and chargeback capabilities, and integration with VMware Cloud Director, which enables MSPs to deploy and administer data protection functions from a single console for installation, administration, and scalability.

“In making this program available, we are catering to the unique needs of our service provider partners while enabling them to accelerate revenue growth from cloud-based services and provide higher service levels by utilizing one product platform for all their data management requirements,” says Jeff Echols, senior director for global alliances and cloud strategy, CommVault.

The program offers enhanced tools and marketing and training support, and features Authorized, Enterprise, and Premier tiers to help partners market, sell, deploy, and support managed data protection offerings.
