Supermicro Expands Operations and Logistics Centers
Super Micro Computer cuts ribbons in Taiwan and the Netherlands. The grand openings occur within days of one another.
Server designer Super Micro Computer Inc. has expanded its Asia-Pacific operations center in Taiwan. It has also opened a new technology campus there. The expansion comes as the company roles out improved system integration services.
In addition, the company formally opened a Netherlands system integration logistics center last week. The company says strong demand from the EMEA customer base led Supermicro to more than double its logistics space in the last couple years.
The Asia Pacific and European expansions are expected to give Supermicro customers “localized supply and time to market advantages as well as a more competitive solution,” according to the company.
Supermicro CEO and president Charles Liang says his company is “pleased to increase the competitive advantages for EMEA customers and to meet their dynamic demands for application-optimized solutions.”
