Symform v2.0 Beta Announced
Company says its cloud storage and backup platform will see several key upgrades, including laptop compatibility with the ability to sync data.
Symform has announced the second iteration of its cloud-based storage and backup platform and services. 
Symform v2.0 has been announced in a Beta form thus far. According to Symform, the second release promises several key upgrades.
The expected release of the Beta version is April 30th.
“There will be many new features,” states Symform in a press release to EH Publishing. “Get your trial node installed so that you can take advantage of this opportunity.”
Indeed, the company is offering a free 60-day trial node by request. Requests are taken online at https://control.symform.com/ServiceProvider/New. In order to be eligible to test the beta release, MSPs must have at least one node currently operating. The trial node must be installed before April 15.
Among the new features of Symform v2.0 are:
- Instant Restore–This feature enables a service provider to sync a node (i.e., a client’s office) to the cloud and simultaneously sync it with another node (i.e., an MSP’s office).
- Asymmetric Contribution–MSPs can contribute storage from another node (or nodes). Set up a storage farm in a remote office or pool resources and contribute from multiple nodes.
- Mobility—This feature provides the ability to run a Symform agent on a laptop and have it continuously sync data into the cloud.
