itControl Suite to Integrate with ConnectWise
CTO says his company’s agentless, appliance-based managed services tool will benefit from the “superior tools” of ConnectWise.
itControl Solutions has plans to integrate its appliance-based remote monitoring and management tool, itControl Suite, with ConnectWise, a popular application for professional service automation.
itControl Suite is the engine behind a growing community of managed services providers (MSPs). It works with single or multiple locations. It’s an agentless, appliance-based technology. As such, it does not require any software, nodes, probes, or servers. The company claims the appliance system can be fully installed in 20 minutes.
For its own part, the ConnectWise platform provides PSA and related business applications, such as CRM, financial management, collaboration, sales and service ticketing, inventory, reports, and analytics. It is aimed at enabling customers, partners, and third-party developers a means for building and integrating into other hosted applications.
The integration with itControl enables ConnectWise PSA users to better serve their clients through greater automation and visibility into remote monitoring and management. itControl Suite alerts can be set to generate ConnectWise service tickets, and administrators can access the specific device that created the alert in one click. All diagnosis and repair activities can be centrally managed and tracked for billing purposes.
