Adtran Enters Unified Communications Market
NetVanta UC line ranges from QoS-enabled routers and switches to IP PBX and IP business gateways.
Adtran Inc., supplier of converged communications solutions, announced today that the company is expanding into the unified communications (UC) realm.
According to Adtran, the company is launching a line NetVanta UC products that will “leverage a wide range of integrated communications solutions to drive top-line revenue while optimizing automation efficiencies to lower operational costs.”
In a press release, Adtran states that in addition to its hardware offerings, the NetVanta UC software suite boasts the ability to be “tailored to each individual user.”
Indeed, the goal of the NetVanta UC line is to deliver simplicity, flexibility, ease of use, and scalability in personalized unified communications offerings.
The NetVanta UC line ranges from QoS-enabled routers and switches to IP PBX and IP business gateways.
Adtran senior vice president and general manager Rick Schansman says the line is “a natural extension of our solution portfolio.”
“Our NetVanta UC products will not only allow us to provide personalized Unified Communications solutions to customers of all sizes,” Schansman says, “but combined with our enterprise product suite, it enables Adtran to deliver an industry-leading breadth of communications solutions.”
