LogMeIn Rescue Expands Android Support

LogMeIn’s latest version of LogMeIn Rescue remote support solution now includes support for all Android 5.0+ and 6.0+ devices, including smartphones and tablets. According to the company, the devices will now be able to utilize all of the features of Rescue including:

  • Click2Fix – Provides all the information agents need at a glance to help them quickly identify problems and provide fast resolution
  • Remote view – Technicians can now remotely view the device screen of any Android 5.0 or 6.0
  • Annotation and laser pointer – Provides a way to guide users through the app while also offering whiteboarding and laser pointer functionality
  • File transfer – Easily and securely transfer files between a local computer and mobile device with one click

LogMeIn Rescue is a business-ready professional remote support platform that provides access and support to smartphones, tablets, computers and applications. The solution currently supports devices from major brands including Samsung, HTC, LG, Motorola, Sony, and more.
