HARRISBURG, PA – October 10, 2019 – D&H Distributing, a major provider of SMB and consumer technologies to the North American high-tech channel, announced it has added a new location to its schedule of trade events, hosting its first-ever “Technology Conference: South West” on October 24 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center in the Houston, Texas area. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., presentations begin at 10:00 a.m., and the exhibit floor is open from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
The inaugural South West conference will include a keynote presentation from Jay Baer, best-selling author and president of the dynamic marketing firm “Convince & Convert”; plus a special seminar from Industry Analyst Tommy Wald, the “MSP CEO” and president of TW Tech Ventures LLC, a site dedicated to helping MSPs grow their businesses. Manufacturer seminars will be presented by Cisco, Intel, HP, and Microsoft. More than 55 D&H manufacturer partners will show their latest innovations, including Acer, Brother, Creative, Epson, Intel, Poly, Lenovo, Logitech, NETGEAR, Sophos, and more.
The conference will feature a visit from Emmitt Smith, leading NFL rusher and three-time super bowl champion who will officially open the exhibit portion of the show with a 4:15 “Technology Kick Off.” D&H customers who register for the conference by Friday, October 11 earn a chance to win one of 30 D&H-exclusive “meet and greet” sessions with Smith sponsored by Dell, which includes an autographed keepsake. Winners must be present at the conference to participate and will be notified by October 17 with further details. In addition to the Dell meet and greet, attendees can earn a chance to win an autographed football sponsored by Intel and Microsoft by dropping their business cards into boxes at either of these manufacturer’s booths. Emmitt Smith will be at the Dell booth from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m., accessible to all attendees.
D&H will host a series of booths focusing on the company’s service offerings, including on ProAV, D&H’s Cloud Solutions, its Partner Services marketing, and the DaaS (Device as a Service) program. The conference will highlight the ProAV category via a partner enablement roundtable, and a cloud discussion run by D&H’s Vice President of Cloud Jason Bystrak, for solution providers who are selling into these spaces. D&H’s VAR Track session and its K-12 Advisory Group will also meet, including additional guest speakers. The distributor will utilize feedback from these engagement opportunities to continue to develop strategies, programs, and best practices in support of different categories and vertical markets.
