Organizations need modern cyber protection capabilities to replace the legacy solutions that no longer meet modern IT challenges.

Priced at $4 per firewall per month, the new service feeds inbound and outbound data directly from Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, SonicWall, Sophos, and WatchGuard products to RocketCyber’s SOC, where analysts look for malware, spam, and other threats.

Called the Malwarebytes Premier Partner Program, it includes a track for MSPs offering monthly pricing and a consumption-based tiering structure aligned with recurring revenue business models, according to channel exec Mike LaPeters (pictured).

The new offering, which will include one set of tiers but different tracks for VARs and MSPs, will sell and support a unified portfolio of “cyber resilience” products covering security and data protection.

The new system is designed to help MSPs implement best practices based on a widely respected—and—increasingly mandatory, standard for preventing, detecting, and responding to cyber-attacks.

Called SecureX and scheduled to enter general availability in June, the new system is designed to ease the challenges of operating multiple security products with separate administrative interfaces and little inter-platform coordination.

Drawing on an IP address reputation index from Webroot, Untangle’s next-generation firewall now automatically blocks access to dangerous web sites, adding another layer of security to existing web filtering and virus protection capabilities.

The new feature, one of several updates to the vendor’s next-generation firewall offering, is designed to let organizations dynamically inspect encrypted network traffic for cloaked malware without slowing system performance.
