Introducing OS33: Kicking Off a New Delivery Platform for MSPs
The OS33 Webtop is a cloud-based desktop from which SMBs can access their company-provisioned applications, tools, file systems, intranet and more.
A new cloud-based IT delivery automation platform for MSPs has hit the channel. OS33 is ready and publicly available, its developer announced this week. OS33 enables MSPs to deliver multi-tenant cloud IT services a fully hosted and automated platform.
The OS33 Webtop is a cloud-based desktop from which SMBs can access their company provisioned applications, tools, file systems, intranet and more from a single integrated interface that can be accessed from almost any browser-capable device. Indeed, that single interface will also enable MSPs to provision servers, deploy and package custom applications, select from a broad catalog of pre-integrated business software, and activate third-party SaaS offerings.
“The trend of moving IT resources to the cloud is increasing at a fast rate, and there’s no question that there are many ways to access cloud resources today,” says OS33 president Jacob Kazakevich. “What makes OS33 unique is that it offers our MSP partners a complete cloud-based business system model in a ready-to-use platform which instantly puts them at play in the today’s cloud-centric market with unparalleled efficiency and capabilities.”
The OS33 platform consists of four critical components:
- Cloud Connector–Unlimited cloud resources are available to MSPs via the OS33 Datacenter.
- Cloud Control Panel–MSPs can access a multi-tenant hosting platform management and provision and deploy servers, file storage, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, databases, back-end applications, cloud SaaS offerings, security and access control, mobile support, and more.
- Application Delivery–Securely deliver any Windows or Web-based applications to almost any device, including smart phones and iPads.
- Webtop GUI–End users get a uniform Web-based interface that is customizable, brand-able, and accessible anywhere, anytime.
