U.S. Rack Distributors Adds Silentium’s ARA Products
The distributor will now carry AcoustiRACK ACTIVE soundproof server racks and Active Silencer fan trays.
U.S. Rack Distributors has entered into a partnership with Silentium. The distributor will now carry the manufacturer’s products, including the AcoustiRACK ACTIVE (ARA) soundproof server racks and Active Silencer ran trays.
ARA products are designed so that SMB office spaces can be used to house servers and network switches. The idea of the products is to cut down on building and design expenses by providing racks that cut power consumption and noise levels.
Silentium’s “Silence in a Chip” technology is embedded in the ARA products, working to reduce noise by up to 30dB as it dissipates up to 8 kW of heat, according to the manufacturer.
U.S. Rack Distributors CEO Bob Alexander says the addition of the ARA products adds to his company’s offerings some of the “most innovative and highest quality quiet rack technologies on the market.” He adds, “Silentium’s engineering, research, and marketing strategy fit perfectly with our concept of the ideal partner.”
For Silentium’s part, CEO Yossi Barath believes the partnership will provide “significant market presence and the strength.” He says, “Working together, we will be able to more widely demonstrate the benefits of Active Noise Control and how it can revolutionize employee work areas as well as save a company significant amount of money.”
