Kaseya Goes ‘Free’ with Introductory Troubleshooting Tool
No-cost SaaS provides remote desktop access, two-way file management, and communication features.
Kaseya Free made its debut last week. The Software-as-a-Service offering is part of Kaseya 2, the latest iteration of the developer’s IT management suite.
Kaseya’s Free product is designed to meet the demands of a mobile workforce.
It provides a series of useful features, including: remote desktop access, two-way file management, and full video and chat communication feature.
It is now available via the company’s Web site.
According to Kaseya, Free was built to be simple and secure so that “every user can feel comfortable when accessing sensitive information over the Internet.”
“We have a proven remote access technology that we wanted to make available to everyone,” says Kaseya CEO Gerald Blackie. “Kaseya Free will provide real value and utility to users. Best of all, as users’ needs get more sophisticated, or their needs change, they can move into more advanced Kaseya products with no re-training, re-installation, re-configuration, and without the hassle of switching to another vendor.”
