Unitrends Launches Recovery-300 Desktop Storage Appliance
Small-form-factor unit provides data backup and recovery for up to 1.125 TB of data.

To address that need, Columbia, S.C.-based Unitrends announced Recovery-300, a desktop appliance purpose-built for small businesses. The small-form-factor disk-to-disk storage appliance provides data backup and recovery for up to 1.125 TB of data that’s managed, protected, and restored through the Unitrends’ Web-based Rapid Recovery Console.

The appliance features a quad-core processor, four GB of memory, and four 1.5 TB drives arranged in a RAID-10 configuration. It also supports up to 10 client systems (typically servers), up to 1.125 TBs of data, and more than 40 operating systems and applications.
