Kaseya Ltd. has introduced a new business intelligence and benchmarking tool designed to help managed service providers evaluate new and emerging service offerings, refine their bundling and pricing strategies, and compare business metrics to those of their peers.
Called MSP Insights and delivered through an online portal, the new offering draws on aggregated business and technical data collected from the IT management vendor’s thousands of MSP partners.
“Our customer-centric mentality is what drives Kaseya to constantly develop new technology, tools and services meant to help our MSP customers grow revenues and earn more market share,” said Mike Puglia, Kaseya’s chief product officer, in a press statement.
“Competitive analysis, though extremely important, can be costly and time-intensive,” he continued. “Through our new MSP Insights portal, MSPs can now benchmark their business services and strategies against the wider MSP community. What’s more, Kaseya has done the analysis so our customers can easily access the critical information they need and focus on what is most important, running and expanding their own business.”
Kaseya CEO Fred Voccola hinted at the forthcoming release of an MSP benchmarking tool in a conversation with ChannelPro this January. BitTitan Inc., of Bellevue, Wash., and Atera Networks Ltd., of New York, both offer MSP benchmarking tools as well.
“The ability to look under the covers, so to speak, at what our competitors are offering customers speaks volumes to our sales team,” said Mick Shah, senior vice president of technical services at Rockville, Md.-based managed service provider Dataprise Inc., in prepared remarks. “Kaseya MSP Insights allows us to stay in front of market technology trends and see what new technologies our customers require. This empowers us to continually update the types of technology and services we offer, which directly leads to new business and overall company growth for Dataprise.”
Kaseya announced tighter integration between its VSA remote monitoring and management solution and the ConnectWise Manage PSA platform last month.
