Microsoft Leading Partners Join Forces to Simplify Deployment of Print-Ready Windows Virtual Desktops

The new addition to the vendor’s Unite UCaaS platform, which is provided at no extra cost, aims to deliver enhanced security and minimize annoying interruptions by automatically identifying potentially fraudulent calls.

Named Voleer, the system helps integrators generate project work and recurring revenue by identifying gaps in an end user’s security defenses as well as opportunities for them to streamline their spending on platforms like Office 365 and Azure.

The seven new products come with features tailored to the requirements of video surveillance systems, including extended cable runs, extra surge protection, and automated remote reboots.

The Build IT event, taking place this week in the New York metro area, features more than 30 workshops and breakout sessions led by top thought leaders in the industry.

The 30 pre-vetted solutions in the catalog cover use cases in strategic vertical industries. The enablement program is designed to help 200 partners get a revenue producing IoT solution to market in 90 days.

The abrupt about-face comes just days after Microsoft announced the revisions to partner program benefits and requirements, and in response to loud, widespread criticism from members.

According to channel chief Gavriella Schuster (pictured), the vast size and rapid growth of Microsoft’s partner program made the company’s recently announced and hugely unpopular restricted internal use rights for software, support incident cutbacks, and higher competency thresholds inevitable.
