StorageCraft and Datto Partner on BDR Product

The partnership joins StorageCraft’s ShadowProtect backup and disaster recovery technology with Datto’s SIRIS, which is geared towards MSPs and VARs.

StorageCraft Technology has partnered with Datto to create a backup and disaster recovery product that provides day-to-day business continuity. The partnership joins two products, StorageCraft ShadowProtect technology and Datto’s SIRIS.

Delivering rapid recovery from bare metal to dissimilar hardware or to and from virtual environments, ShadowProtect provides disaster recovery, data protection, and system migration. A centralized management console allows for simultaneous push installs of ShadowProtect to all Windows servers from a centralized location.

Datto’s SIRIS is a backup and disaster recovery product geared towards MSPs and VARs. SIRIS streamlines the backup process by converting the data straight to .vmdk files. According to the company, SIRIS is the only backup and disaster recovery product to offer instant on- and off-site virtualization.
