The blockbuster deal positions the combined vendors to deliver the same kind of comprehensive MSP solution portfolio arch rival Datto has been offering since late last year.

Available in the second half of the year and based on technology from Spanning Cloud Apps, the new system will enable MSPs to protect Office 365 mailboxes, contacts, and calendars, as well as data in SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business.

First announced last month, the new QuoteWerks Web lets users access data previously available only in the product’s desktop edition through their web browser as well.

Kaseya’s RMM and PSA products now exchange data automatically with IT Glue’s documentation solution as a result of the deal, which also makes Kaseya the first vendor authorized to resell IT Glue solutions.
