Nimble Storage Launches Global Partner Program

Certifications, incentives, and sales enablement tools empower channel partners to increase value to customers; program drives strategic solutions selling opportunities.

Nimble Storage, a San Jose, Calif.-based flash storage solutions company, has launched the Nimble Storage Partner Program, a global program that enables and rewards partners that resell the Nimble Adaptive Flash platform. The program features certification levels, incentives, and sales enablement tools.†Nimble will also offer programs in alignment with its alliance partners, including Cisco and VMware, to create strategic solutions selling opportunities for joint partners.†

Nimble will recognize Gold, Silver, and Bronze certification levels for partners, each representing the partner’s accreditations and demonstrated success in selling the company’s solutions. Nimble will provide on-demand demonstrations, networking opportunities at local and national events, and branded marketing materials depending on certification level.

Incentive Program: The incentive program rewards partners in various market segments for attaining milestones. Incentives offer inclusion in the Nimble Loyalty Incentive Program, a growth-focused allotment of MDF available to Gold and Silver partners. Partners are also provided with sales performance incentive funds (SPIFs), a trade-in program for replacing older storage units with the Nimble Adaptive Flash platform, discounts on not-for-resale equipment, and a deal registration program.

Partner Portal: The Partner Portal holds partner-focused content such as sales and marketing tools, and a new mobile app accesses that information along with deal registration and technical specs for Nimble solutions. The portal also offers partners immediate access to sales data from Salesforce.com, including how many deals are registered and the pipeline associated with deals specific to that partner.

Marketing Team and Training: Nimble also provides partners with a dedicated channel sales and marketing team and has developed joint programs with its technology alliance partners. A webinar series on the company’s latest solutions is available, along with free, online core sales and Fibre Channel protocol training through Nimble University.
