Symform, a cloud storage provider, is offering a new referral program that will reward users with up to 200GB of free cloud storage. According to the company, this could save customers up to $1,247, based on competitors’ prices.
The current program gives Symform users 100GB of free cloud storage for just signing up and configuring their accounts. Under the new program, users can increase their free storage up to 200 GB by referring other users at 10GB free per successful referral, and getting fully configured within the first 24 hours at 20 GB free.
Symform offers decentralized cloud storage, as users contribute inexpensive local storage equal to the amount of data that they want to redundantly store in the cloud. Symform uses RAID-96 to geographically distribute, encrypt, and shred the data.
