Velocity Micro’s Raptor Z55 Now Available with 5th Generation Intel Core Processors

Velocity Micro, a builder of enthusiast desktops, laptops, and peripherals, has announced the general availability of 5th Generation Intel Core processors, formally codenamed Broadwell, in the Raptor Z55 gaming PC. Configurations are available in either full-sized ATX or mATX chassis starting at less than $1,700. Key specifications include:

• Core i7-5775C – 4 physical cores with 8 total threads, a stock clock speed of 3.3GHz at base and 3.7GHz at Turbo, 6MB of L3 cache, and Iris Pro graphics.
• Core i5-5675C – 4 physical cores with 4 total threads, a stock clock speed of 3.1GHz at base and 3.6GHz at Turbo, 6MB of L3 cache, and Iris Pro graphics.
