Carbonite Launches New Partner Referral Program

Boston-based Carbonite Inc. has introduced a new Partner Referral Program that equips its partners with tools to bring in new clients and sustain relationships with existing ones.

Under the new program, partners create co-branded landing pages from which customers may purchase Carbonite solutions. Once a purchase is made, the customer relationship is transferred from Carbonite to the partner, who receives a commission equivalent to his or her Carbonite partner discount.

“We are committed to providing our partners with the tools and resources they need to increase sales and build lasting relationships with their clients, and our new Partner Referral Program does both,” says David Maffei, vice president of global channel sales, Carbonite. Maffei also says a partner’s “average order value of sales” through the program is 29 percent higher than traditional channel sales, and the partner maintains the client relationship once the purchase is complete.
