Announced on the same day as a resale agreement with threat detection and response vendor Perch Security, the new system is part of a larger, evolving push by ConnectWise into the massive and growing market for security solutions and services.

Part of the vendor’s increasingly strategic device-as-a-service program, the new offering is part of a larger shift from transactional to contractual customer relationships highlighted today by CEO Dion Weisler (pictured) at HP’s Reinvent conference.

The new offerings, which include end-to-end professional services, managed security services, and cloud migration services, are targeted at members of Palo Alto’s NextWave partner program building cybersecurity and cloud practices.

The security vendor is staffing up on support, signing integration pacts with RMM makers, and more, according to channel chief Joe Sykora (pictured), who says a new tiered partner program structure with bigger discounts for top sellers is coming soon too.

Announced in conjunction with this year’s RSA Conference in San Francisco, both offerings are core elements of an MSP recruitment initiative backed by volume discounts and flexible billing options.

The vendor plans to bundle its new phishing simulation and end user education platform together with its flagship dark web monitoring service, and offer both at prices it says are significantly below what many MSPs currently pay for dark web protection alone.

Called Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Threat Experts, the new offerings are designed to help overwhelmed IT departments and MSSPs cope with a continually shifting threat landscape.

The new integration, which is available at no additional charge to users of both products, lets organizations apply policy-based access controls to mobile devices automatically in response to real-time mobile threat data.

Speakers and sponsors at the conference, which took place last week in Orange County, Calif., shared advice for capitalizing on rising demand for cybersecurity help and industry-specific services.

The new, subscription-priced offering is designed to help MSPs drive adoption of managed security services.
