Intel/McAfee Announcing Partner Rev Share, Including Trials in Boxed Processors (updated)
At ISS 2014, Intel and McAfee announced a new revenue share program for channel partners in an effort to keep Intel and McAfee solutions profitable to channel partners. Further, in a video Intel just played, the company will also begin offering free trials of McAfee security solutions with boxed Intel products. How successful that will be is of question, given the reluctance to “try” security solutions, thanks to years of being shoveled trials. Still, it’s great Intel is offering channel incentives for McAfee solutions.
