In a conversation with ChannelPro this week at its Navigate partner event in Las Vegas, Michael George (pictured) explained why Continuum is betting big that it has a crucial competitive edge in one of IT’s hottest markets.

The BDR solution seeks to put basic data protection services in reach of SMBs with modest needs and limited budgets. The desktop care package features a modernized interface and workflow automation functionality, among other new features.

Called Continuum Security and scheduled to reach market early next year, the solution combines software for erecting and managing a defensive perimeter with threat detection and response technology and a 24/7 security operations center.

The first free version of Pulseway’s “mobile-first, cloud-first” solution since 2015, the system offers mobile monitoring of two endpoints, ten alerts a day, and critical metrics tracking, as well as a 14-day trial subscription to the product’s paid premium edition.

The new offering layers real-time threat detection and response capabilities powered by the Amazon Web Services public cloud on top of the signature-based defenses in VIPRE’s on-premises endpoint security system.

The new offering equips LogicMonitor’s flagship solution to monitor not just on-premises infrastructure but public cloud resources, providers, and billing as well.

The deal gives the distributor’s North American resellers access to software compatible with Microsoft Office 365, among other email systems, that’s used by over 160,000 SMBs in more than 100 countries.

Part of an unfolding effort to build a comprehensive breach detection and prevention platform, the new product wave includes an updated OS and mobile access gateway, plus a new firewall (pictured), wireless access point family, and security analytics service.

The company also unveiled a new easy-to-install wireless networking solution for small businesses (pictured) and a new subscription-based financing program designed to make buying on-premises hardware similar to buying public cloud resources.

The new MSA 1050 hybrid flash array and all-flash SimpliVity 380 hyperconverged infrastructure solution (pictured) arrive on the same day as word that HPE’s entire Nimble Storage product line will be available to its entire worldwide channel starting November 1st.
