Grandstream Networks, an IP voice/video telephony manufacturer, has launched the HT701, a new 1-port Analog Telephone Adapter (ATA). The adapter is designed for single line analog phone users, including SMBs, needing a compact ATA that converts legacy analog telephones, fax machines, and other analog devices to access Internet-based telephone services.
The HT701 is the latest addition to Grandstream’s HandyTone ATA/IAD series. The series offers a variety of VoIP access devices for a range of SIP standard-based ATAs. Features include:
- Compact design at 1″ x 2.6″ x 3.4″
- Support 5 RENover up to 1 km on 24 AWG line
- Advanced telephony features, including Caller ID, call waiting, do-not-disturb, 3-way conferencing, call transferring and forwarding, message waiting, T.38 fax, and more
- Comprehensive voice codecs, including G.711 with Annex I/II, G. 729A/B, G.723.1, iLBC, G.726
- Security protection of voice/data privacy using TLS SRTP/HTTPS
- Secure and automated provisioning using TR069, HTTP/HTTPS/TFTP, and AES encryption
